Fake Renewal Notices – Be Aware

It’s been going on for a while, but recently there seem to be a spate of fake domain renewal emails doing the rounds.

The email usually advises you that it is the final notice to renew your domain/s before they expire.

Please be advised that – unless you recognise the email sender as the company you purchased your domains from, you should not take action on these emails.

Our emails are always clearly marked with a logo, and will come from an address ending in @ireckon.com or @ireckonhosting.com. Also note that ireckon will never send you a domain renewal notice by snail mail (so old school), only via email.

If you have received any domain renewal notices which you are unsure about, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to help you.
